On guitar Chris Dent, songwriter and an amazing guitarist; a dedicated player who is just as at home on his acoustic guitar, as he is pulling the fat tones of the 1950’s from his hollow body arch top. 

Chris was the original lead guitarist with The Spirits for many years and played in several line ups with Greg on drums, from The Beach Bouys to The Shades and many more!

On harp Ian Wilks holds down the old licks, the groove, he often sits in the pocket in the background rhythm. Another dedicated player whose immense love for Blues music, is openly displayed at absolutely every show that he plays.

Ian has always had a driving vocal style and passion for that hard edged harp tone. He has had a history of playing with some fantastic Australian Blues musicians across the past 40 years.

Tim is the bass man that is so well known for his catchphrase "Magic Happens!"  He has ended up on so many tours through  "bass man for hire" situations and equally on many leading artist's albums; because Tim makes it happen every time he picks up the bass - upright or electric.

Deluxe Blues is Tim's own band and he is loving the material which is evident every time Tim picks up the double bass!

Greg plays a stand up kit with splash cymbals and stomp kick, powered by brushes and 40 years experience. A Blues man at heart, his strong vocals, open handed shuffle and funky drumming style drives the engine room in the band. 

Greg has worked with Ian and Chris for over three decades since founding The Spirits Blues Band in 1988, bringing unmatched experience and dedication.
